Maple House, Bath

A discreet side infill extension unlocked this design. It opened up the space, creating an interconnected kitchen, dining and living room. Light and volume are key to its success.

A lean-to design, with full-height doors and fanlight maximises the feeling of space. A series of rooflights add to this, top lighting the room and adding to its sense of height. Downstands are only used where necessary, adding subtle definition to each of the three areas. A simple white palette ties together the whole space completing the look.
