This contemporary kitchen extension is all about light and connection with the garden. The simple flat roof allows full height glazing to wrap around and open out onto a new raised decking area.
The proposed rear extension replaces a former narrow Victorian lean-to. Raising the eaves maximises the feeling of space in the kitchen, and connection to the deck and garden. A large rectangular roof-light to the rear helps to flood the deep plan with even more light. Bespoke joinery throughout, including a breakfast bar, make it perfect for family living. The bay windows were also replaced with matching bifold doors to unify the rear elevation.
