A compact rear extension to a mid-century property. The use of different materials and openings elevate this simple flat roof design.
The main form of the extension uses a red brick. This carries through to the side return, with a stepped plinth and built-in planter. The infill extension is set back in a contrasting pale vertical timber cladding. Inside, the space is flexible and flooded with light through the openings on all sides.
