This simple zinc clad extension is all about contrasts. The contrast of the contemporary design against the period house. The contrast of the dark zinc against the white render.

The extension doubled the size of our client’s dining room, freeing up some space for entertaining and informal seating. Externally, the dark zinc is offset by the light-coloured timber which wraps around the inside of the deep door reveals, creating a warm, inviting portal to the interior spaces.
