As a listed building in very good order, this house needed a very light touch to make the necessary changes.
Almost all of the solutions were found in furniture, and through refinishing existing floors and walls. As a result, a series of small changes added up to a greater whole, with the transformation of the ground and first floors being particularly dramatic, mainly through better distribution of light.
The project is a great example of how huge changes can be made with almost no building work at all.
